INSURANCE
You are responsible for all damage and loss caused to others. You agree to provide auto liability, collision and comprehensive insurance covering you, us, and the vehicle. Where state law requires us to provide auto liability insurance, or if you have no auto liability insurance, we provide auto liability insurance (the policy) that is secondary to any other valid and collectible insurance, whether primary, secondary, excess or contingent.

The policy provide bodily injury and property damage liability coverage with limits no higher than minimum levels prescribed by the financial responsibility laws of the state whose laws apply to the loss. You and we reject PIP, medical payments, no-fault and uninsured and under-insured motorist coverage, where permitted by law. Coverage is void if you violate the terms of this Agreement or if you fail to cooperate in any loss investigation conducted by us, or our insurer.

The policy does not cover losses caused by drivers of the vehicle who are not authorized drivers. You have the option to purchase RV Supplemental Liability Insurance. This is purchased online directly with an insurance company, not Indiana RV Rental and Sales. This will offer coverage of $1,000,000 liability insurance. More info is available as needed.

VEHICLE HEIGHT
Watch for low hanging branches, parking structures, and canopies at fast food restaurants and gas stations.

WEIGHT LIMITS
All vehicles have a weight limit established by the chassis manufacturer. Always be careful not to exceed the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of the vehicle. Traveling with full fuel, water, and waste tanks makes the vehicle quite heavy. This reduces the carrying capacity of people, food, luggage, and personal items. It also affects fuel economy. Questions regarding weight? Please consult our personnel or check the weight label found in the wardrobe.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE
It’s important to check engine fluids every time when refueling. If the vehicle needs any fluids, please add the proper amount, and we will reimburse provided proper receipts are presented. Driving with low fluid levels can cause engine damage for which renters are responsible. It’s important to watch all gauges as driving the vehicle while it is overheated will cause engine damage. It’s also vital to check the generator oil level every 6-8 hours of operation. If the generator or the engine needs oil, use 30 wt or 10W30 oil, available at any service station.

ACCIDENTS
We must be notified within 24 hours in the event of an accident. A full written police accident report must be submitted to our management upon returning. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.

VEHICLE LOSS OR DAMAGE
We discuss in great detail what happens if a rental unit is returned with damages. Our goal is to be as detailed and transparent as possible so there are no surprises. We follow an estimate and appraisal process to determine repair and replacement costs to the unit. We charge manufacturer retail prices for all replacement parts required to fix the vehicle, and will give you a detailed listing of the parts used.

If any part is not an item that we normally stock, the renter will also be charged for freight and expedited delivery. All parts and supply charges are taxable. Standard labor shop rates also apply. If we use an outside shop, renters will be responsible for the transportation costs of the vehicle to and from the shop. If you have ANY questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

ON ROAD REPAIRS
In the unlikely event of mechanical difficulties, any repair up to $50 may be done. Any repairs more than $50 must have prior authorization from Indiana RV Rental and Sales. Please save and submit all receipts for repairs. Refunds will not be issued without a receipt.

SEAT BELTS & AIR BAGS
Seat belts are provided throughout the motorhome. For your safety and to abide by state and federal laws, it’s important that they be worn whenever the vehicle is in motion.

HITCH USE
Towing is prohibited. Please ask for permission before using the hitch for a bike rack.

EXTRA CLEANING
Any excessive interior or exterior grim, stains, dirt, requiring deep cleaning will be billed hourly, at our standard shop rate, in addition to the prepaid cleaning fee.

HOLDING TANK CLEANING
As part of our services, holding tanks will be dumped and rinsed with no additional charge to the renter.

FUEL REFILL
Vehicles are rented with the engine and propane tanks full. Propane tanks will be filled at no charge to the renter. If units are returned without full fuel tanks, a refueling fee will be charged that includes the current price per gallon.

GENERATOR USE
The generator is available for $3 per hour, or $36 per day for unlimited use. Generators run off of the motorhome’s premounted regular gasoline tank.
